Putting Knowledge to Practice
Our corporate mission is to “Passionately stretch the limits of learning
to self discovery change and growth”. While self discovery change and
growth begins in the classroom, part of stretching the limits is taking
the learning outside the classroom ~ where true self discovery,
change and growth occurs ~ its putting knowledge into practice. Here are
the tools we have available:
Action
Plans
Our 30-day action plans are comprised of daily reminders, activities and
questions that help participants apply and integrate their learning. It
also includes a place to record their goals, action items and daily focus.
Quick

coil-bound 8 ½” x 5 ½” handbooks provide quick and easy access to key
concepts, tips, checklists, step-by-step procedures and important things
to remember.

The
Supervisory Roundtable is an opportunity for supervisors to get together

supervisory development, share success stories and/or challenges, and to
support one another ~ to become their own support and development
mechanism. The Supervisory Roundtable package consists of:

Monday
Morning Mentor
The
Monday Morning Mentor will arrive in the participant’s inbox every Monday
morning. This tool offers an on-the-job platform for achieving structured,
experiential supervisory / leadership skill development. It provides
weekly opportunities for reinforcement and review of what was covered in
the on-line learning and workshops. Examples of what the Monday Morning
Mentor will include:
A
small piece of content related to one of the defined leadership /
supervisory competencies
A
problem to solve
Special
assignments and other activities
Each
month will have a different theme that is related to their learning and
the monthly Roundtable topic. They will also receive an on-line
printable companion workbook that includes key messages, a
place to take notes, capture successes, record questions, roadblocks,
ideas for overcoming these roadblocks and identify support they need. The
workbook can also be used to capture items they want to discuss at the
next Roundtable.
