Effective learning can be delivered using a wide variety of methods. And, we're always researching and coming up with new creative ways of delivering relevant, actionable learning. Following are some of the methods we are currently offering:
Classroom
Our specially designed training materials will assist any Facilitator in delivering an engaging, effective and exciting learning experience with little Facilitator preparation required.
All AHz Participant Guides / Workbooks / Handouts are written in easy to understand conversational language. We incorporate lots of space to allow for note-taking, graphics to link content to long term memory, and step-by-step procedures. Also, woven throughout are quotes, examples, and stories that incorporate underlying messages such as taking pride in your work, providing superior customer service, communicating effectively and working together as a cohesive team.
We also endeavour to break classroom sessions into small modules allowing for audience and content flexibility.
Facilitators delivering our sessions (whether AHz 'AH' wizards or your certified 'AH' wizards) are not the 'sage on the stage', rather they are the participants' guide to learning. Our highly interactive format encourages higher-order thinking and problem-solving. Our goal is to guarantee that participants can both LEARN and APPLY what they've learned long after they've left the classroom.
Exercises, simulations, case studies and other activities are designed to be challenging and thought provoking, engaging all learners ~ from those that like to take their time and contemplate to the fast-paced 'keeners'.
Our sessions are structured to honour the current challenges and strengths of all learners.
As well, every AHz designed session includes a step-by-step Facilitator Guide ensuring that sessions are facilitated in a consistent manner delivering a consistent message.
Self-Paced Learning Modules
Our self-paced learning modules are designed to enable participants to easily understand and progress through the material with very little assistance.
Again, materials are written in conversational language incorporating stores, metaphors and graphics throughout. These modules enable participants to work at their own pace with ease, comfort and thorough understanding.
Pre and Post testing can be incorporated with any self-paced learning design to ensure learning retention and learning gain. Pre testing can also be used to allow learners to discover whether or not they need to take the module.
Our Learning Central can be used for easy access and module navigation.
On-line e-Learning and Testing
We can also design interactive on-line e-learning modules and testing. Our e-learning design tool is easy to use ~ allowing us to keep design time to a minimum ~ resulting in low-cost e-learning modules for our clients.
We can offer on-line pre and post testing, to quantify learning and retention, or to allow participants to 'opt out' of various modules. These on-line tests can be modularized to address various job functions, or can be a standardized test for all participants. Pass scores can be set on a 'points' or 'percentage' basis, and a randomized pool of questions can present each participant with a customer test to ensure learners can't share questions and answers.
Customized tracking and reports can include such things as: who has taken the test; what scores they received; what they got right and/or wrong; and much, much more.
Score based certificates can be automatically printed at completion of the test.
Video-Based
We can also develop highly interactive, engaging video-based training modules. Here are some of the benefits of video-based training:

- Eliminates the need to travel to an off-site location ~ eliminating travel expenses.
- Training can be delivered just-in-time ~ no need to wait for a scheduled classroom session.
